Non-specific neck pain
Non specific neck pain is reasonably common and for most people is short lived, lasting between 6 and 12 weeks. Sometime people experience recurrent episodes or more persisting symptoms that may be linked to particular factors such as sustained positions due to work activities or stress.
Management of non specific neck pain
Exercises may help to improve symptoms of no specific neck pain. The following exercises may be suitable starting place.
Activity modification
It's really important that if your pain relates to spending long periods of time in fixed positions, that you try and break up these activities and move around.
